Overcoming Struggles

via graphicshunt.com

We all have been through unfortunate times in our lives. We all have spent nights wallowing in our misfortunes. We all have wanted to give up. So, what separates people who are successful from those who aren’t?

People who are successful acknowledge that there is a problem.

People who are unsuccessful deny their problems.

People who are successful smile through their troubles.

People who are unsuccessful only complain.

People who are successful continue to help others.

People who are unsuccessful only think of themselves.

People who are successful treat themselves even when they feel they don’t deserve it.

People who are unsuccessful let themselves go because they “know” they don’t deserve it.

People who are successful learn from their mistakes.

People who are unsuccessful make the same mistakes.

People who are successful understand that adversity makes them better.

People who are unsuccessful think that adversity makes them worse.

What type of person are you?

Everything that happens to you defines you and it is up to you to decide how.

So, make the best of every situation and remember,

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.”

What a great post! I think we’ve all been there at some point and I think that making the decision to be successful and not wallowing in misery is always the best path. 🙂
