We live in a world that teaches us to think of ourselves. We only give to others when it benefits us. We donate when we run out of room and need more space. We volunteer because it will look good on our resume. We compliment others because we know that someone is watching. Question is, why?
Why can’t we give back because it is the right thing to do? Why are we so concerned with ourselves?
A person does not determine what kind of family they are born into.
We can’t determine if we are rich or poor at birth.
So, why do we fault people for something that they can not control?
We do it because we are selfish. We do it because we are spoiled. We do it because we are scared.
There is no room to be selfish, spoiled, or scared when innocent people need help.
Imagine if you were in need.
How would you feel?
People do not achieve success alone. They do it with the help of others.
Where would you be if someone did not help you along the way?
Do not give back because you need more space. Do not give back because others are watching.
Give back because it is the right thing to do.
“No one has ever became poor by giving.”
