I saw an amazing movie this weekend. It was called Super 8. I was blown away.It was about a group of kids in 1979 who witnessed a crazy train accident. After the incident, all kinds of crazy things started happening. There was a “monster”. People disappeared. People lost cars, microwaves, and even their dogs. The airforce even got involved! If you love Sci-Fi movies , then you will love this movie!
Check out the trailer for the movie below:
Doesn’t it look exciting !? It’s full of jokes. It’s action-packed. It’s a little scary and it has meaning. The acting surpassed my expectations. The main characters were all under 16 and they were brilliant. Very inspiring.
Here’s a movie review from the Blind Film Critic:
I’m a sucker for a good film. I love a little inspiration. One scene in the movie even made me cry. When he ran into the monster, he did not yell or run away. He said this:
“Bad things happen, but you can still live.”
The boy was only 13 years old and he had more sense then any of the adults in the entire movie. He did not judge, blame or try to kill the monster. He was kind and encouraging. Most of us just want to be understood. This movie reminds us of that. I was obviously very pleased with the movie. Hopefully, I didn’t spoil it too much for you. I love being inspired.
This quote explains it all:
“Great art picks up where nature ends.”
