Stand and Speak.

Imagine how life would be if someone did not stand ?

Imagine how life would be if someone did not speak?

Would life be the same?

Would it even exist?

These are questions that I ask myself everyday.

I wonder why more people don’t speak.

I wonder why everyone follows the crowd.

I guess it is too much trouble being different.

People laugh because everyone else laughs.

People say what everyone else says.

People are afraid to look weak.

They want to be safe.

People are afraid to look dumb.

They want to be average.

They take advantage of what has been given to them.

They do not understand the world we enjoy today.

The world we enjoy today was built on people being different.

The world we enjoy today was built on people being dangerous.

Where would we be if someone was afraid to look dumb?

Where would be if someone was afraid to be different?

Imagine how life could change if someone stood up.

Imagine how life could change if someone spoke up.

Will life be the same?

Will you make the change?

“Stand upright, speak thy thoughts, declare The truth thou hast, that all may share; Be bold, proclaim it everywhere: They only live who dare. ”

I used to think that. Now I realize that there are many different kinds of people in the world, just as there are many different kinds of animals. And we are all BORN that way.

Many, if not most people are “pollos” (chickens) or “sheeple” (sheep) or lemmings on their way to the sea.

No independent thought, just follow the crowd. But nowadays they have the right to vote!

Then you have the hawks, the lions, tigers and bears. Sheep dogs, barking chihuahuas, poodles and more. People are born with certain character (animal) traits and in our politically correct world of “equality” we are raised not to judge other people’s “character” but it’s there for all to see.

I am a tiger or a wolf, pure and simple. Lots to admire about the courage and strength of the tiger, and wolves are known for independence and loyalty, and but don’t mess with one. Or you will rue the day! I never start trouble, but I finish it.

I’ve been loving your writing just as much as the quotes that go along with it. Once again, thank you for brightening only only my day, but my month and life
